Tim WalbergSaline, MI – U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg (R-MI) will visit R&B Plastics Machinery LLC on Monday, July 18, 2011 as part of a Manufacturing Roundtable with Saline-area companies. He will speak about his role in Washington, D.C. as a Subcommittee Chairman overseeing efforts to prevent job-killing regulations. He also wants to learn about issues impacting companies in the seventh Congressional District of Michigan. The Manufacturing Roundtable is being organized by Al Hodge, president, to showcase manufacturers’ common concerns as well as product diversity.

R&B is an OEM of blow molding and extrusion equipment for the plastics industry, including feed screws and rebuilding/modernization services. R&B is hosting the event to help Representative Walberg learn about area manufacturers.

R&B will host the 9-10 AM discussion featuring Congressman Walberg with Q&A following his remarks. The company will conduct a plant tour as well.

Congressman Walberg currently is in his second term in the U.S. House of Representatives serving Michigan’s Seventh District, including Branch, Eaton, Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee counties and parts of Calhoun and Washtenaw counties.
