Single-Screw Plastic Extruder (MAX Extruder) Video
R&B Plastics Machinery introduced its new MAX Extruder line of single-screw extruders at NPE (National Plastics Expo) 2009. "We’ve manufactured extruders for over 30-years, but what’s new about this is essentially the MAX name, our own private brand. We’re configuring it to be a stand-alone extruder," said Al Hodge, VP of sales. The company will initially focus on selling extruders in the Midwest plus serve its current customer base. R&B wants to maintain extruders through what Hodge called, "Strength in Service: All 18 shop-floor employees travel for service at customers’ plants throughout North America. They have over 450-years of combined experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulics work."
The Max Extruder is available in ¾” to 10” diameter or custom configurations based on customers’ production needs.
